With the end of 2011 season almost upon us, the 2012 winter testing schedule for MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 has been released.
Finally the governing bodies have let up a little on cost saving measures regarding testing and have given the teams one extra day of pre-season testing, making it a total of nine days, in addition to the two days at Valencia at the end of the season.
They’ve decided to drop the two days of night testing at Qatar, with the Spanish circuit of Jerez de la Frontera taking its place, and we sure like to see the return of MotoGP IRTA shoot out broadcasted again as a pre-season opener.
Sepang due to its constant warm weather gets most of the testing, with three days starting from January 31st to February 2nd and again at the end of Februaryfor another three days.
The GP paddock then heads to Jerez from the 23rd to the 25th of March before the season night opener at Losail that kicks off April 15th.
Moto2 and Moto3 (which will replace the 125cc class) starts February 8th at Valencia and then head to Jerez de la Frontera.
