2013 Yamaha M1 Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo livery (w/video)

As expected Yamaha’s MotoGP factory officially unveiled their livery for the 2013 season during a press conference held at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, which will see starting from tomorrow and until Monday, the final pre-season test before the start of the championship.

Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo’s YZR-M1 continue to sport Yamaha’s corporate blue and white colours with just highlights of the two riders tradmark colours, yellow for Rossi and red for the reigning world champion who is not carrying the #1 plate on his bike but his #99.

In a interview with MCN, Yamaha boss said that the team, despite the star power of Rossi, will for the third straight year continue not have a title sponsor, even if Monster Energy is now bearing part of the sponsorship burden.
Jarvis puts the blame on two factors, the global economy and the fact that MotoGP is still too Euro concentrated.
