The Ferrari Cavalcade, which started in 2012, took place in Tuscany this year and 90 lucky Ferrari owners were given the chance to join in.
The event has been set up by Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo to “honour all Ferrari enthusiasts, who are the closest to the Prancing Horse.
” It’s an event that the Italian super car maker sees as “the most important event organised by Ferrari” so they always make sure that its a memorable one.
Drivers from 4 continents and representing 30 countries took part driving hyper cars like the Enzo and F40 and rarer Ferraris like the 599 GTO.
This year’s event offered 90 Ferrari enthousiasts an opportunity to drive through the wonderful Tuscan countryside and took place over a three day period.
Each day a different theme set the tone and dictated the route the convoy of super cars took.
One of the themes was ‘Art’, so the drivers took their cars through Florence, Volterra and Bolgheri, before a return leg took them back to the city of Medicis.
There was also an opportunity for the owners to test their hyper cars at the 3.
259 mile Mugello circuit, which Ferrari’s Formula One team test at.
