Randy de Puniet seems to be in pretty good spirits (and he certainly isn’t in Europe for Christmas) and decidely relieved that additional surgery he was contemplating of undergoing last month, is no longer needed, as he’s now pain free.
The former LCR Honda rider, who in 2011 will race for Pramac Ducati, broke his leg during the Sachsenring GP and despite an almost miraculous comeback after a little more than three weeks, continued to suffer from pain and swellling, caused by a slightly too long rod that was inserted in his leg, but with the test ban in place and more time to heal and some specific training, the French rider is convinced that he’ll be a 100% for the Sepang test.
