Some say it is even more beautiful than the original, but whether you agree with that or not, certainly there’s no doubt that LSL Motorradtechnik did a great job with the Husqvarna Nuda.
This German company is actually a manufacturer of accessories such as handlebars, levers, risers, mirrors, footpegs, rims, steering dampers an so forth, but they are also responsible for coming up with this surprising rendition Nuda, a more classic-looking take of the aggressive road bike from the Italian/German/Swidish brand which LSL showcased at the latest 2012 Intermot Show in Cologne, Germany.
The standard version of the Nuda is equipped with the reliable BMW 900cc parallel twin – credited with an output of 105 hp – and boasts some pretty unconventional aesthetics emphasized by its sharp lines: it may not match everyone’s taste, but it hardly leaves you indifferent.
This sort of roadster version made by LSL retains the main characteristics of the model it derives from, but – as you can notice right away from the pics – its approach is based on far less flashy aesthetics.
Funnily enough, that’s the opposite of what you normally do with special bikes, which always aim to impress with their fancy looks.
As for the actual modifications, LSL provided the Nuda with an ultra classic – and classy – round headlight, new saddle, vintage-looking mudguards, new tank, spoked wheels (which are no less than 3.
6 kg lighter than the standard ones) and short travel suspension, with the fork that’s 60 mm shorter than the stock one.
Then we got a number of accessories from LSL itself all over it, and looking at the final outcome – in comparison to the ‘regular’ Husqvarna Nuda – we just cannot help but wonder how that just happened.
