Luca Scassa disqualified from Misano round

Luca Scassa has just got his ass kicked for being dumb.
The popular Italian rider who took second in today’s World Supersport race behind team mate Chaz Davies has been informed that he has been disqualified from taking part in the sixth round of the championship at Misano Adriatico scheduled for June 10-12th.

Scassa didn’t commit any racing wrongdoings on track, but the Italian a few weeks ago through his Scassa Racing Experience school was instructing riders at the Misano circuit riding a Yamaha R1 and not a R6 that he uses in the championship.

Unfortunately for Scassa and his team riding a machine at a circuit that is part of the WSS championship calendar unless the team specifically designates it as one of their test circuits (for the ParkinGO team it’s Aragon) is a big no, no, hence the disqualification according to the FIM rules 1.
