Kenneth Heyer will drive the Mercedes Black Falcon SLS AMG GT3 at the 24 hours Spa-Francorchamps, following in the footsteps of his father Hans who won the race in 1971 with the 300 SEL 6.
8 AMG.
It raced with the number 35, and this weekend, Kenneth will have that same number on his SLS AMG GT3.
The driver describes it as a great honour and along with the rest of the team, has set his sights on coming “at least” second.
That’s pretty ambitious but sometimes history favours the brave and with a 40-year story behind him, it would be quite something to see him win.
