Trillium Muir – The Fastest Woman on a Motorcycle

Trillium Muir the Canadian drag racer and her team Nickel City Racing has regained the title of the World’s Fastest Woman on a Motorcycle from Leslie Porterfield who had won the title during the BUB speed trials at the Bonneville Salt Flats last August.
Muir, 28 a Correctional Services worker in Sudbury broke the land speed record by running a ECTA certified top speed of 382.

Trillium achieved her record at Maxton Mile race track in North Carolina, USA.
She rode a tuned 2003 Hayabusa featuring a GT35R turbo from RCC turbos, Aims data logger, JE Pistons, Crower rods, MTC lock-up clutch, Elka shock, custom-built swingarm, RCC back cut transmission.
Her next aim is to break the 400 kmph mark on her Hayabusa, an amazing achievement considering that Muir has been riding only for four years.
