Here are the complete official pics of the new Aprilia RSV4 R to be presented this weekend at Imola in one of the closing rounds of the 2009 WSBK.
The “R” version, in elegant white, will have a 43 mm Showa fork, while rear suspension has been entrusted to Sachs.
This should provide a cheaper-spec bike, with the same engine, but that comes in at a lower price range.
The engine will still be that of the RSV4 Factory, the V4 with 180 hp and Ride-by-Wire system, though some modifications to both it and chassis will occur to further lower the price.
The three settings of Race, Sport and Road will still be offered, in what’s going to be one very competitive sports bike.
