The latest spy pictures by now date back to November 2008, but the developments of the next generation Citroen C3, awaiting the exclusive DS3, haven’t stopped.
Actually the next C3 will recapture some stylistic aspects from this latest model, keeping the “egg” shape, but making it more sleek and slender, as we can see in this successful graphic reconstruction based on the most recent prototypes that have been caught sight of.
Citroen will maintain, however, certain differences between the C3 and the DS3: the former will continue to have the 5-door design while the latter, with only 3 doors, will be the compact sports vehicle of the French series, with an exclusive interior design and high-performance engines.
The debut of the new C3 is expected for the end of 2009, with marketing beginning in 2010, and therefore it is logically anticipated at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
