Ioda Racing to switch to BMW-Suter starting from Misano GP?

Colin Edwards may not be the only CRT rider who could change his bike in the upcoming GP Aperol di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini at the Misano circuit, rumors in Italy have it that Came IodaRacing Project team will probably be dropping their slow and troublesome TR003 for a BMWSuter and rider Danilo Petrucci has confirmed via Twitter that there will be changes starting from Misano.

Petrucci has been riding the TROO3 (trellis frame and Aprilia RSV4 engine prepared by EMIR) that has had numerous technical and reliability issues, besides the drawback of being the slowest bike on the grid – even compared to the other CRTs – and apparently the team is on their last engine of the twelve (with just 700km left on its life) alotted by the rules for Claiming Rule teams, hence the need to change.

Update:Thanks to David Emmett of Motomatters.
com who has the latest on the engine situation in MotoGP, Petrucci is currently on engine number 6 of 12 and has 2 engines already withdrawn.
