Following the rumors that MotoGP would be testing at the Termas de Río Hondo circuit in Argentina in 2013, despite the fact the event was cancelled this season, the MotoGP website has now officially confirmed that some teams will be in fact testing at the new GP circuit.
The two-day test (is it private test or is Dorna paying the travel costs) is scheduled for the first week of July, just after the Assen GP, and several teams – Honda, Ducati and Yamaha – (but probably not the Yamaha and Honda factory teams and LCR Honda as they’ve already tested at Austin) and their riders will also visit capital city Buenos Aires to take part in several media commitments (… without the fab four?).

Details of the testing schedule for the Official Test in Argentina, as well as full lists of media activities and information on those taking part, according to the official website will soon be available.
