Following the rumors that Yamaha would be finally picking up a new official sponsor to back their MotoGP effort (after losing Fiat in 2010 and Petronas at the end of 2011 ) the Japanese manufacturer has confirmed an agreement with JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation.
The partnership with JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation starts tomorrow, January 31st in conjunction with the first official pre-season at Sepang, where Yamaha riders Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies will take to the track aboard the new 1000cc Yamaha YZF-M1.
The test marks the start of the Team’s campaign to reclaim the MotoGP World Championship title.
