MV Agusta Rivale Preview

MV Agusta reveals one of the brand new models we will see at the 70th edition of the EICMA show in Milan (November 13-18).
The Italian manufacturer will in fact introduce the first version of the Rivale, which is meant to be a brand new kind of motorcycle as admitted by Giovanni Castiglioni, CEO and son of the late Claudio, the man behind the success of brands such as Cagiva, MV Agusta and Ducati.

From this first image it is hard to tell, but the Rivale seems to be a cross between a naked bike and a supermoto, with the lines of the rear section which are somewhat reminiscent of the Ducati Diavel (a feeling that gets reinforced by that number plate holder, which is basically the same).

Still, this is just one pic and we do not know much about this model, as for yet.
What we do know is that the engine should be a 800 cc three-cylinder unit or something like that, hence more powerful than the 675cc unit equipping the F3 and the Brutale 675.
However, we see that the Rivale inherits the captivating triple exhaust on the side which has immediatly become an distinctive feature of the legendary brand since its arrival last year on the new three-cylinder models.

We just cannot wait to see it live at EICMA in Milan, also to find out if it will be a concept bike or something more.
