Until now the new Husqvarna 900 road going bike seemed to be just the 900cc engine, but with these spy shots, the model is taking shape.
The new bike will be the first Husqvarna roadgoing model produced and currently we’re undecided how to classify it – whether it’s a maxi-motard or a maxi-naked.
In any case, the new Husqvarna engine that has been developed – a bigger bore version of the BMW F800GS motor – is now getting the rest of the bike put together around it.
It’s probably too early to say anything much about the design, but so far it’s not exactly appealing.
It is in its early stages though, and this Husqvarna 900 prototype has probably been built without wanting to give too much away.
The Husqvarna 900 will go on show at the 2011 EICMA show in November and we understand it will be the production version.
