Husqvarna SM450R 2009 at Intermot show

We close off some of our final news from the Intermot show 2008, including this look at the new Husqvarna SM 450 R – and you can’t help but love it.
This is a motard for passionate fans, with a beautiful look that’s nasty and says she’s ready for racing.

The plastic covering has a lovely form, along with some great colouring and a “factory” charm.
The important news is all in the chassis, with improved rigidity, while also weighing one kilo less.
No excesses have been taken, just a few improvements on what was already an impressive little machine.

The 450cc engine has been kept and the exhaust valves are in stainless steel.
Some changes have been made to the transmission, for faster gear change and the bike is now available with fuel injection.
The thing that I love most are the wheels, which are from Excel and are now available in black, and the digital display also gives a touch of style.
