Ducati has decided to christen their new Superbike ‘1199 Panigale’ (Panigale is the area where Ducati is located in Bologna – Borgo Panigale) and this teaser video reveals very little of the new bike (the so-called spy shots have taken care of that) as everything is purposely out of focus so they continue the teaser build up ahead of the 2011 EICMA show, November 10th to 13th.
What is also interesting, despite our belief on the contrary, Ducati will not be immediately debuting the 1199 Panigale in the World Superbike championship next season, but in the 2012 FIM Superstock Championship, this way they can solve any glitches that the new bike may have.
