Jay Leno’s customised Star VMAX motorcycle will be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction, with proceeds going to the Bailey’s CafĂ© charity, a community program bringing art education to some of New York’s toughest neighbourhoods.
The auction will take place in Las Vegas, and the brand new VMAX should fetch a good price, having just been re-designed by custom bike builder Jeff Palhegyi.

He had just one week to redesign it with the only instructions from Jay Leno being: “this bike’s going to be bought by an enthusiast, so make sure to keep it rideable.

”The bidding range is not known, though the charity is hoping to achieve their 100,000 dollar goal.
We figure that the sale of the bike, along with a few other bits and pieces will probably achieve that.
