WSBK -Blake Young to ride at Donington with Alstare Suzuki

According to Italian website GPone, 21 year old American Blake Young with be riding at Donington Park for the next round of WSBK championship with Alstare Suzuki’s Brux team.
Young will be replacing Max Neukirchner who is still out from injuries he picked up at Monza.

Why did Francis Batta pick Young instead of keeping Fonsie Nieto, who has been replacing Neukirchner in the the last races? Simple, the legendary number 34, Kevin Schwantz presented the rider to the Belgian team manager.

Young presently competes in the AMA Superbike Championship with Rockstar Makita and rides a Suzuki GSX-R1000 and is 8th in the current standings.

Team mate Mat Mladin believes that Young should be trying to race in Europe and went as far to write this up in his Twitter account and personal blog that you can read here.
