EICMA 2009 concludes: on to EICMA China and Bike Asia

The 67th International Motorcycle Show, EICMA 2009 has concluded a success with about 450,000 visitors over the few days, and increase in international visitors of nearly 30 percent.
With the cancellation of the Paris motorcycle show, more French producers came, contributing to the total of 127 countries featuring products at the event.

There was also a large German presence, and overall 1341 brands were present.

The EICMA show has become a must for the media, with a total of about 2,000 journalists attending.
Among the successes this year was the Motolive special live event and the Green Planet hall dedicated to hybrid and electric motorcycles.

While previously considered an Italian event, the increase of overseas visitors and exhibitors shows that efforts to become more international are paying off.
The EICMA Milan show is definitely one of the world’s more important motorcycle shows, and the joint venture of EICMA China should include other markets in its scope.
