Yoshimura Suzuki who revealed last January that they would be debuting at the World Superbike round at Assen this upcoming weekend, has had to call off their racing plans because they’re not able to get to the Dutch track due to Eyjafjallajökull’s ashes blocking all inbound flights to Europe.

The Japanese team was set to debut with Yukio Kagayama (who finished 11th at the BSB Thruxton round last weekend) riding their GSX-R, may show up for the Monza round, volcano permitting, that’s scheduled for May 9th.
