The roar of the legendary Ducati V-Twins was the unofficial soundtrack of WDW 2012, a sound that could be heard everywhere at all time in Misano, inside and outside the racetrack.
Ducati fans from all over the world were just too eager to let their beloved bikes sing in front of an audience of connoisseurs, but there were bikes that could make the heart beat of without emitting a single note, or walk a single mile: we are talking about the bikes featured in the mini make-shift museum that the organization had set up for the occasion, named ‘Historical Zone ‘.
Of course we are not insensitive to the charm and appeal of these iconic vehicles either, and the chance to take a look around was just too tempting to pass it up: production bikes and racers of various ages which contributed to the glorious history of Ducati were on public display at the WDW 2012 to remind all the young fans that the story of the legendary brand has its roots in a distant past, which goes well beyond the 25 years of the World Superbike Championship.
