BarDesign introduces his latest graphic concept, the KTM RC4 Concept, a hypothetical sportsbike made on the basis of the 2013 KTM 690 Duke.
The attractive and slim Austrian naked (credited with an output of 68 hp and a little less than 150 kg of dry weight) is envisioned by mastermind Luca Bar as a fully-faired ‘Supersport’ bike that would actually fill a real gap in the range of the Mattinghofen-based manufacturer.

And he also came up with a possible ‘R’ variant for the model.
The stock chassis of the 690 Duke, its LC4 engine and the exhaust pipe of the original model are immediately recognizable on the RC4 Concept, which Luca Bar provided with a sharp and aggressive bodywork to underline its ‘racing’ nature.
The ‘R’ version uses different graphics and colors and comes with a lot of carbon fiber and an intriguing ‘racing’ exhaust courtesy of specialist Akrapovic.

The KTM 690 Duke does not cost that much (€ 7,870 including VAT, ex-dealer), but the arrival on the market of a similar product from KTM is indeed pretty unlikely.
However, the result here is so convincing that the RC4 could definitely have some success as a mere aesthetic ‘kit’: we are pretty sure that some 690 Duke owner out there wouldn’t mind giving his babe such a cool facelift.
