WSBK Superpole cancelled

Today’s World Superbike Superpole has been cancelled following a horrific four rider crash during one of the Australian support class races.
Unfortunately there has been a tragedy and reports from Phillip Island say that one of the riders has passed away and the police are now present to investigate the incident.

UPDATE:It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Australian Superstock 600cc racer Oscar McIntyre age 17, succumbed to the injuries sustained during the crash.

The two other riders involved in the incident, Luke Burgess and Michael Lockart have received medical attention and Burgess is currently under observation with non life threatening injuries.
