Jorge Lorenzo took off his motorcycle leathers this weekend and donned his driver’s ones to take part in the Copa de España de Resistencia, a car endurance race with a Fiat 500 Abarth Assetto Corse at the Catalunya race track.
The MotoGP champion finished 24th in the general standings and took a 12th place in D12 category, not bad for a motorcycle racer who doesn’t have almost any car experience except for three days of testing and took part at the Monza rally show back in 2008 with a Fiat Grande Punto.
