Electric hydrogen motorcycle ENV tested by Top Gear

“Serene” and “space shippy” are two words that James May from Top Gear uses to describe his experience with the ENV – a two wheel, hydrogen fuel cell and electric motorcycle.
The problem with this motorcycle has nothing to do with its own intrinsic qualities, and everything to do with the way our world is set up to accept something like this.

There is no hydrogen infrastructure anywhere to fuel this thing when it runs it.

But still, the Env has some impressive technology, not least its internal electric generator.
While it might only produce eight horse power at this stage, I appreciate that some visionary people are investing in this kind of R&D.
