Community activities warm hearts

Before the main event, attendees were treated to a variety of activities organized at St Giles Church. Families and friends participated in festive games, enjoyed seasonal treats, and engaged in community bonding, all while bundled up in their warmest winter attire.

The atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy, as people of all ages embraced the holiday spirit, proving that a little cold weather couldn’t dampen their enthusiasm.

Santa’s grand arrival

As the evening progressed, excitement built up for the highlight of the night: the arrival of Santa Claus. Brave souls ventured outside to witness the moment when Santa made his entrance in a reindeer sleigh, much to the delight of the gathered crowd. Accompanied by Holly Lightfoot from East End Primary School, Santa took center stage, ready to flip the switch that would illuminate the town with festive lights.
