The letter stated, “Over the past 12 months, multiple risks have been reported and recorded from all areas of the portfolio, both formally and informally.” Clinicians emphasized that the sustained pressure on staff has led to harmful workloads, compromising their ability to deliver effective care.
In response to the escalating crisis, NHS Grampian acknowledged the challenges faced by its teams. Interim chief executive Adam Coldwells stated that the organization is actively engaging with staff to understand the issues and seek solutions.
