According to Detective Constable Steven Borzoni, the fire was ignited while occupants were present in nearby premises, leading to a small rupture in a gas pipe, which has since been repaired. The incident has understandably caused significant alarm among local residents.

Detective Borzoni emphasized the seriousness of the situation, stating, “The fire posed a risk to life and property, and we are treating this as a wilful act of arson. We urge anyone with information to come forward and assist our investigation.”
