As the January transfer window approaches, Aberdeen’s management is intensifying efforts to bolster the squad in response to a troubling run of form. Under the guidance of manager Jimmy Thelin, the club is actively pursuing new talent to reinvigorate their performance on the pitch.

The Dons have already secured the loan of winger Jeppe Okkels from Preston North End and made a significant investment of £600,000 to acquire centre-back Kristers Tobers from Swiss club Grasshoppers. Both players are expected to make their debuts in the upcoming Premiership clash against Hearts.

However, negotiations are proving challenging, as the Allsvenskan club is reportedly holding out for £800,000.
