The incident took place at the Premier shop on Lochalsh Road, where two men were spotted on the roof, attempting to gain access by removing slates with an unknown object.

The two suspects were observed between AM and AM, engaging in suspicious activity that raised alarms among local residents. After being noticed, the men fled the scene in the direction of Telford Road. Authorities are now appealing to the public for any information that could lead to their identification and capture.

According to police reports, the first suspect was dressed in a black jacket featuring a white emblem, paired with dark grey joggers and white trainers. The second individual was seen wearing a light grey jacket over a light-colored hoodie, black joggers, and black trainers. A police spokesperson stated, “Our initial enquiries have revealed that two unknown males were observed to be on the roof of the Inverness premises. They were removing tiles from the roof with an unknown object before fleeing the area.” Officers are diligently reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to gather more information about the suspects and their actions.
