In a significant enforcement operation, police in the Highlands have arrested and charged twelve individuals for drug driving and drunk driving over a two-day period. In addition to these arrests, police detected twelve drivers exceeding speed limits, who were subsequently charged at the roadside and issued fixed penalty tickets. The operation also revealed other violations such as driving without a valid license, lack of insurance, careless driving, and failure to comply with vehicle safety regulations, including MOT checks and seatbelt use.
