About CanLearn
CanLearn is the only online post-secondary education resource that provides Canadians with the information and services they need to pursue higher education, such as finding student loans.
The CanLearn site was created by the Department of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada in collaboration with provincial and territorial governments and Canadian learning and career development organisations.
About National Student Loans Service Centre
Students who have received a Canada or Integrated Student Loan can access the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC) within the CanLearn website to register and ask for information about their loans.

By registering online
The NSLSC can provide students with information on: the status of their student loan, the balance of their loan(s), details of new loans recently received. It can also provide services on:
updating their mailing and permanent addresses and other contact information on-line,
reviewing their loan payment and transaction history,
giving helpful information about their loan in your Personal Message Centre,
managing their loan online, with regards to customising repayments or getting repayment assistance.
Registration
To use the site, new users must register first, supplying their names, date of birth, loan account numbers and social security numbers. After a user’s identity has been verified s/he must create an account and supply a password. Finally, he must accept the NSLSC User Agreement.
NSLSC Toolbox
The website has a section where one can access tools and resources to help him or her manage his student loan. Online forms for Pre-Authorized payment, one-time payment from the bank account and changing your payment due date are available for download.
