We’ve already looked at tricolour recipes, and here’s another one to celebrate the Italian flag on a plate.
This pasta dish uses tomato, mozzarella and peas to create the red, white and green “tricolore”.
The easy pasta recipe uses: 380 grams of spaghetti, 150 grams of mozzarella, 350 grams of tomatoes, 80 grams of peas, olive oil, basil, salt and pepper.
Heat the tomatoes so you can skin them and then cut them into strips.
Cut the mozzarella into cubes and leave aside.
Boil the water, salt it and add the spaghetti once boiling.
When about a minute’s cooking is left to go, add the peas.
Drain both the spaghetti and peas when cooking is finished.
Serve them on the plates, and add the tomatoes and mozzarella.
Mix a little and add the oil, a little pepper and some fresh basil.
