From April 3 to May 10 on Italy’s Isola d’Elba, the Festival del Camminare will take place; a festival dedicated to trekking on the island that was the first exile for Napoleon, organised by the Arcipelago national park of Tuscany.
The event is part of an eco-tourism campaign and involves guided Elba treks and tracks, with meetings, seminars and themed dinners.

For accommodation, the Isle of Elba hotel Relais delle Picchiaie is offering bedrooms and suites with views and comfortable facilities.

The hotel includes a health spa complex to relax from the long treks with sauna, turkish baths, aromatherapy and Ayurveda massages.
Il Picchio restaurant will be open with views of the Portoferraio gulf and a cellar stocked with Isle of Elba and tuscan wines.
The Festival del Camminare offer includes a 15 percent discount on prices of a two-night stay, or a stay of seven nights at the price of only five.

The rates include half board and start at 195 euros for a double room for two nights, or 450 euros a person if using the seven nights for five offer.
