King Abdullah II of Jordan and his wife Rania are in Italy on a state visit; two days ago the royal couple visited Rome’s Campidoglio where the beautiful Queen was presented with two silver pieces by Bulgari and the king with the famous lupa or she-wolf, the symbol of Rome.

The hand-made statuette made of bronze was particularly appreciated by the king who, in turn, presented Gianni Alemanno, mayor of Rome, and his wife Isabella Rauti with a silver jewel box and a set of very precious books.
