Argentina GP officially confirmed

As anticipated on Monday, Argentina will be hosting a MotoGP round for three seasons, from 2013 to 2015.
The official confirmation came yesterday, and the agreement to host the event at the Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo was signed between the Argentinean government, the Governor of the Santiago del Estero province, OSD and Dorna Sports in Paris.

Present for the signing of the deal was Argentinean President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, who was accompanied by Minister for Tourism Enrique Meyer, Governor of the Santiago del Estero province Gerardo Zamora and Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta.

The agreement will still be subject to track homologation by the FIM, after the necessary renovations to meet MotoGP safety standards.
