Custom Chrome is an aftermarket company founded in 1970 in San Jose, California, that’s now become one of the largest independent accessories distributors.
Based in Morgan Hill, California, they now have an European division called Custom Chrome Europe GmbH, whose headquartes are located in Bad Kreuznachit, Germany, as well as sales offices in Japan and Mexico.

At the recent Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy, Custom Chrome Europe (CCE) introduced a special bagger called “Bolt On and Ride”.

Based on a 2013 Harley-Davidson Road King, the model has been fitted with quite a few special bits lifted by the Custom Chrome catalogue (which are also sold by H-D itself through its official channels) and assembled by German dealer Harley-Factory Frankfurt.
The ‘Bolt On and Ride’ uses a big 26-inch 5-spoke front wheel, an addition that required the modification of the rake angle performed by specialist Andreas Bergerforth – from renowned H-D showroom and customizer Thunderbike – through the fitting of a special Touring Kit (with different clamps too).

Other highlights include the finely crafted fork sliders, ape hanger handlebars, leather saddle, new billet footpegs, chrome headlight, BDL open primary belt drive, new tank, new fenders, bigger bags and a silver metal paint job, also made by Harley Factory.

The list of special bits fitted on this bike is so long it would take us ages to write it down (and probably it would be quite boring to read, too), but let’s just say that the whole lot makes for an extra 10,000 € that customers should put on the top of the 24,800 € required to buy the H-D Road King (though the kit can be applied to older Road King models as well).
However, each CCE component can be sold separately.
