Kenny Noyes becomes Pramac Ducati's reserve rider

Former Moto2 GP rider Kenny Noyes, who is now back in the Spanish CEV Moto2 championship (and third after two rounds) after being dumped by Arguiñano Racing Team, just a couple of months before the start of the season has confirmed that he has reached an agreement with Pramac Ducati’s MotoGP team to be their reserve rider.

Noyes will replace Hèctor Barberá in case the Spanish rider is injured or unfit to race and according to Motociclismo.
es he could also be on call to substitute other Ducati riders.
The American rider knows his away around big displacement bikes, but to our knowledge (so if we are wrong, please correct us) has never tested a MotoGP prototype, so if he ever has to replace one of Ducati riders, it will be a very big learning curve in a short weekend.

Rizla Suzuki also had a similar reserve rider deal with John Hopkins in 2011, he stepped in for Alvaro Bautista at Jerez after Bautista fractured his leg during practice in the season opener in Qatar.
