Before the first official MotoGP test of the season scheduled from the 5th to the 7th of February at Sepang, reigning Moto2 World champion and MotoGP’s newest rookie sensation Marc Marquez will be taking part in a car race on ice.
The 19-year old HRC rider will be partecipating in the second round of the GSeries BPA 2013 that will be held on January 12th at the Grandvalira Circuit, a permanent ice track in the Principality of Andorra.
Marquez will be driving a Volkswagen Golf MK1 under the banner of the Banca Privada d’Andorra (BPA), who is the main sponsor of the championship and he will be just one the latest Spanish motorcycle racers who will be trying his hand in GSeries BPA as Jorge Lorenzo, Aleix Espargaro, Toni Elias and Laia Sanz, Marc Coma, Cyril Despres, Dani Oliveras have all previously taken part in the series.
