Rossi to test Ferrari F1 at Mugello in November

Valentino Rossi had said that if he won the MotoGP world title, he would give himself the gift of a drive at the wheel of the Ferrari F1: and so Rossi is now ready for his F1 test drive.
Rossi has said that he missed the experience of driving an F1 and so on becoming world champion again in 2008, he took the opportunity to express his wish of trying a Ferrari F1, and not a production series car.

And so at Ferrari, who seem only too happy to oblige, an appointment for the 20th and 21st of November at Mugello has been booked.
It is the track that Valentino Rossi loves most.
It’s the same track that has seen plenty of victories for Rossi, who is now almost 30 and who has two years left in his contract of riding with Yamaha.

It has been almost three years since his last test of a Ferrari in February 2006 at Valencia.
Whether a change to four-wheel driving is really an option for Valentino or not, it will be interesting to see what he can achieve at the wheel of Ferrari’s F2008.

Rossi has lived a life of speed and engines unlike most others and has already proved before that perhaps even with cars, he could have been a protagonist.
Rossi left his Ferrari test driving fantasies in May 2006 to complete his work in MotoGP.
But it appears the adieu was not final…
