Here’s another helmet solution from Shoei called J-Wing, and while it’s a jet helmet, it’s versatile enough to suit riders of scooters or tourism bikes.
The internal padding of the helmet is different from most jet helmets, as it’s designed for longer trips.
Five different internal layers make for both comfort and safety.

The visor is integrated into the shell, like most Shoei products and the ventilation is incredible – creating an internal canal of airflow.

The J-Wing is made from AIM organic fibres and fibreglass, making for a light helmet.
Three sizes are available which cover a range from XXS to L, then L and XL, and then XL above.
Colours available include black, opaque black, light silver, antracite and white and the new pearl grey as seen in the photo.
The price is 438 euros.
