It’s now official: the frescoes that Correggio painted in the dome of the Cathedral of Parma around 1520 will be part of an exhibition entirely dedicated to the famous Italian artist and which will take place in the city of Parma from September onwards.
For the first time visitors will have the unique opportunity to get a closer look at these astonishingly beautiful frescoes 600 square meters in size and depicting the Assumption of the Virgin.
