The French Academy in Rome has been granting scholarships to gifted artists since the year dot; for centuries young and worthy artists from France travelled to Italy and studied at the famous and beautiful Academy , but this year Yannick Haenel and Laurent Mauvignier, two young and promising writers, have decided to share all this with other French and Italian writers by hosting a series of literary events during which guests such as Stephane Bouquet will discuss important topics and read poetry to the audience.
