Can you imagine sitting on one of the beams above Milan’s San Siro stadium, dangling your legs high above the football pitch? Well, Lady Geco, or Jenny Lavarda has done just that, climbing the stadium of San Siro to promote her sport.
She is a champion of free climbing, and climbed Italy’s temple of football to give some visibility to her sport.

Watching the video gave me the heebie jeebies a little, though a remarkable story from Lavarda during the interview, is when she had the opportunity to climb a clock tower and on touching the hands of the clock, realised it wasn’t covered in glass – “It was like touching the sky” she says.

Not being a natural surface, the tower at the stadium gave its challenge, but Jenny Lavarda achieved the climb in only a few minutes.
