We have already written a little about Italy’s coffee culture, and its link to all things Italian, including design.
And now with next week’s Salone del Mobile (Furniture Show) in Milan, Illy Caffè is indulging in an original idea.
Called “Illy Morning Preview”, it’s a kind of breakfast (obviously with Illy coffee), followed by a guided tour around the Zona Tortona, one of the more “alternative” exhibits in the show.
Every morning from the 16th to the 20th of April, you can meet at 9:30 at the Design Library in Via Savona: after tasting a good coffee, you go off to wander around unusual spaces, creative laboratories, see young talents on their way up and also familiarise yourself more with some of the champions of design.
