New logo for the city of Rome

The city needed a new logo and in order to get it an important competition was launched by the mayor of the city.
Now, after twelve months, Mr Alemanno has the new logo which features a she-wolf (which has been the symbol of Rome since the year dot) and the word Rome in gold and red letters! Unfortunately the choice has caused a stir and many have vented their frustration and disappointment with it.
