If you like thrill of full scale drama and daring scenes, the Opera et Gusto restaurant in Florence is for you.
Just look at the decorations! The restaurant is also a theatre and open bar created by Piera Dabizzi, Alberto Orlandi, Gennaro Napolitano and Paolo Becherucci.
It is located centrally on via della Scala.
The interior reflects theatre stalls with red velvet finishings adorning black tables and walls.
After an aperitif, the lights dim and a curtain surrounds the dining area, placed at the bottom of the stage.
An evening meal here normally starts at 7:45 with antipasto and aperitif, while the show starts at 8:30 pm, finishing about 11:30, when the restaurant becomes a bar open until 2am.
The menu and evening’s entertainment costs 45 euros, and bookings are required.
Opera et Gusto is closed on Mondays.
