From when the Town House Galleria hotel opened in Milan – the first seven–star hotel in Europe – our friends over on Travel Blog have been searching for someone who stayed there, to get a first hand account, as we are unlikely to ever have the opportunity.
We’ve found three guests on Tripdavisor, who have all given the hotel 4.
5 or 5 out of five, reinforcing the perception that after only a few months, this is considered one of the best hotels in Milan.
What impressed the guests? The Italian guest was particularly struck by the location, describing it as breathtaking, and by the service despite the four out of five vote for reception service (which lowered the overall result for the hotel).
The Californian guest was also impressed by the service and features available, saying it took the manager half an hour to explain all the services available.
Of note was also a little “extra” – with little notice the tourist manager of the hotel managed to organise a private visit of Leonardo’s Last Supper.
A Spanish guest was also enthusiastic about the restaurant and the use of a plasma tv, in addition to internet access in the suite.
We checked out room availability for a couple of nights in December.
Unfortunately the superior suites (Verdi, Toscanini, Donizzetti, Rossini) are all booked, but the Tow Bed Room is available at 7,950 euros.
