Italian cocktails: Negroni Old and original glass design from Venice

When you’re next at happy hour in Italy, you might find the barman confused when you ask for a Negroni, as now not just the famous Negroni cocktail exists.
You might also find yourself with an aperitif called Negroni Old, which emerged in Florence in 1919, before the name was coined across Italy.

Negroni Old is an original recipe that still uses the same infusion from that early 20th century drink.
The company has preserved its history, and for nearly 90 years has given the market an unmatchable drink with a satisfying and fascinating taste.

Negroni has re-vamped its image, starting with a new bottle, created by a collaboration with the Industrial Design faculty of the University of Architecture in Venice – patron of glass making.
The bottle will not go unnoticed, reflecting a 1970’s style.
For collectors we recommend not throwing the bottle away as it’s possible they will one day become collectors items around brick-a-brack markets.
The back of the bottle in fact, features a 45 vinyl with a pin-up from the the 70’s.
